As a data and AI enthusiat, I am passionate about learning and leveraging the power of artificial intelligence, and data to create innovative solutions that can make a real difference in people's lives. This project is a work in progress, and my goal is to create an AI-powered financial advisor that can help people optimize their portfolios based on their unique circumstances and risk tolerance.
The vision for the AI Financial Advisor is designed to take into account various factors, such as income, expenses, and investment goals, to help users develop a personalized financial plan. The onboarding process includes a questionnaire that helps identify the user's risk tolerance, and the advisor suggests a portfolio allocation based on efficient frontier analysis of macro asset classes. The advisor then suggests monthly splits in income for investment, saving for a safety deposit, contributing to a 401K, and spending on non-mandatory expenses.
Currently, I am working on the MVP, which focuses on the optimization of the portfolio based on an efficient frontier analysis of macro asset classes. The project utilizes Python and the pyportfolioopt library to identify the best investment strategies for each user. The project also utilizes Flask to build a user-friendly interface for users to interact with the advisor.
